Materials
uPVC the only material for exceptional windows and doors.

We see the benefits of using this uPVC (unplasticized polyacrylate vinyl chloride) vinyl over traditional materials such as wood that can rot or warp, ordinary vinyl that can discolour, crack or deteriorate. Bravo believes in making the World a better and safer place to live and chooses to use recyclable materials over cheaper ones. Our uPVC is not only strong but eco friendly, a very important aspect in today’s World. A common test to ensure a profile can withstand low temperatures and impact without cracking is the notched impact test. Our uPVC profiles have high tolerance to impact, as this is essential in transportation and installation as they are subjected to bending and low external temperatures that would crack regular PVC but not our uPVC.
Bravo’s uPVC polymers possess superior light and weather resistance as well as intense colour durability. Even after 10,000 of hours of exposure in the Weather-Ohmmeter, the profiles showed no deterioration in colour, little to no loss in notch impact strength and no visible change in surface gloss.
If you have endured the hassles of inexpensive vinyl windows or doors you know the disadvantages and poor quality of materials as the frames tend to crack, chalk and discolour over time. The aftermath of the windows is even more costly as replacement windows are one of the biggest expenses in home renovation. The reason why most vinyl windows need replacing is due to the materials that they are fabricated from. Typical PVC is a polymer that has ingredients like lead and chalk to make the frames more rigid. These added materials migrate out of the PVC over time and cause the discoloration and the cracking to occur. Even more dangerous to your health is the diffusion of the particles and gasses caused by the elements in PVC.
All of our products are made from uPVC ensuring a high quality product along with elegant styling. The “u” in uPVC stands for unplasticized, which means our uPVC does not contain any added or harmful materials like chalk or lead. Even though our uPVC does not contain these dangerous chemicals the process and fabrication makes it stronger and less brittle than traditional vinyl. Most important is our safety that’s why our products will not harm you or your family and are eco friendly so they can be recycled. Not only are we concerned about you but the Globe as well and we make sure that our products are eco friendly and will not contaminate our World, as we all have to live on it. Bravo – stands for quality and their customers.
